Amazing Off-The-Grid Tiny House Has Absolutely Everything!

This tiny house is ready for anything! Completely off the grid, this tiny home on wheels generates it’s own solar power, collects rain water, uses solar water heating and even generates it’s own bio gas for cooking.

Paul and Annett had been living the city life, in an apartment in Sydney, Australia. A desire to lower their impact on the earth and live closer to nature lead them to designing and building their own eco-friendly tiny house powered by renewable energies and moving onto a remote property outside of Byron Bay.

Does anyone knows is there any company that build tiny houses in UK, how much does it cost and maybe some places where I could place house but not far from other people as I am way to scared live in the middle of nowhere?

I love their stairs, they are reasonable!! Did they make storage in the lower stairs. That is a nice couch, looks like you can curl up in it. What is that tent structure to the far left of the tiny house?

Why would anyone give a thumbs down to this video? Just asking. Feel free to explain your rationale if you did. Great video, and very inspiring tiny house. I envy their lifestyle!

So THEORETICALLY it's much easier to go carbon neutral in the city. We actually need higher urban density to combat climate change. You can share insulation, solar panels and batteries, solar heat storage, lower transport costs and the requirements for infrastructure.
Unfortunately the costs are too high which means we need to build larger cities with higher density. It should be, no it NEEDS to be cheaper than owning a tiny house in the middle of nowhere.
I'd love to see some kind of "tiny apartment complex" build e.g. out of shipping containers that is organized in a way to be really cheap. On cheap land and without greedy developers with a profit motive, just a way of people to live cheap, live free and have a low carbon footprint.

PS: Thanks for the video, the way you and the couple laugh is hysterical haha 🙂
I'd love to see a quick update after their winter how their solar PV, heating and biogas has held up. That would be very interesting to hear.

IIlegal in most states (USA) due to homesteading laws being forced into play as more people hit the homeless ranks.

Also, I have a question about your filming – what program(s) do you use to create your videos?

This was one of the best.

It used to be that a little shadow on even a corner of your solar panels would greatly reduce the production, not sure if this is still true.
