David Savage – Design and Fine Furniture Making




Every year 12 students enrol on a one year course to change their lives. At the David Savage Atelier not everyone succeeds. “It takes hard work, perspiration, deep practice and inspiration.”

Artisan Media visited David at his International Woodworking School in Devon, England, to find out more. This short film reveals some of the school’s secrets: A remarkably inspiring place!

    Thanks for the insight and first hand experience… what is truth…..? it is indeed a difficult world when distance and real experience of engagement with another is separated by pixels on the screen…judgement becomes so very difficult….
