Design Inspirations

This is a short list of the threads and inspirations that have been influencing my work lately. Some lurk just beneath the surface, waiting for the right opportunity, the right site or the right client, while others are more thematic and make appearances again and again.

I hope they’ll help to replenish your creative stores too.

Water, can also be used for power/electricity if you have great enough flow in the form of Microhydro.

Changeable, when I was a child I often liked to change everything around in my room late at night including bed and all the furnishings to suit my current whims of the time. I do also love the traditional Japanese design though I do wonder how those thin paper and wood walls would keep enough heat inside in the winter months and come to think of it I don't remember ever seeing a heating source in those traditional houses?

For someone such as yourself who seems to really appreciate great design and simplicity of material. I highly recommend you watch this particular episode of Grand Designs UK, In my opinion It's one of the best and most creative houses I've ever seen. So much so I bought the episode on Itunes. here is the preview link https://youtu.be/1PztPGstWoQ Its Grand Designs Series 14 South Cornwall. btw, it was all of $3.50 per episode, Very cheap in my opinion.
