DIY Pantry Remodel #1 of 2

A DIY Pantry Remodel. I’m trying to optimize my kitchen layout by consolidating all our canned food in one handy location. When I’m done it should help keep food items organized and on-hand without wondering if or when we need to restock. Here I am repurposing a closet and transforming it into a pantry.

Interesting that you would remove the wire shelves (which make excellent rabbit cages apparently) and put in the wooden ones.  I've seen people do the opposite. 😉  I need to organize my pantry, but mine is a little (no, a lot) bigger than yours. ;P  (it's about a 10'x10' basement room)

I hate those type of drywall anchors. They so rarely worked for me. I use plastic toggle anchors. They're a lot stronger and I know they're less likely to fall right out. Great project otherwise. Gives me ideas about my pantry.

Maybe could do better on the canned goods shelves by making a gravity fed roll situation? I like the project. But I really like a consolidator type system for cans!!

Great project Stan. I used to use them plastic Anchors now if Plasterboard (Drywall) is in use its either the Metal Version or Toggle Anchors. Looking forward to the 2nd part, with the doors. Take Care,  Barry (from England)

Nice work, Stan. I didnt't know about the tip using a screwdriver to push in the edges of the old screw holes. Nice.

Only video I could find with true step-by-step instructions. A lot of people forget there are actual "beginners" out here watching. Thank you for taking the time to post.
