eMedia, located in Bakersfield, California, is a professional marketing solutions firm that combines over fifty years of experience in advertising. The group specializes in media buying, television, radio and outdoor advertising for their local and regional clients. When eMedia decided to move into a new 1,550 sq ft office in Bakersfield, CEO Erin Henderson knew the firm needed to match its office design to its level of success.

After using the Budget Your Office Tool, eMedia contracted StrongtProject to bring their new modern office design from blueprint and budget to reality. The StrongProject team maximized the square footage for the entire workspace, which included five private offices, a central conference room with seating for eight, and a new organized copy/file room.
The brand’s aesthetic is clean, modern and styled in bold colors of green and orange, so StrongProject optimized the details and finishes of their modern office furniture to complement their company colors. Sleek office desks with semi-private bottom screens and wood finishes were coupled with modern, low, wood-finished filing and storage. This kept the private offices from feeling cramped and didn’t block the plentiful natural light. Ergonomic office chairs were finished with seat coverings that matched eMedia’s brand colors. This also helped the workspace “pop” with a refreshing color without feeling too bright.
The reception area footprint was optimized with two strategically placed seating areas, the designs of which lessened noise using acoustic shapes and large back rests. The reception desk itself offered the opportunity to set the brand’s confidence in any first impression: a solid color block and backlit structure that also made organization tasks behind the desk easy to maintain.
