I love your BOTH styles so much! But its unfair for you if the clients choose whose floor plan is better. You should combine your style or let the client decide what part he/she likes in your designs.

I think maybe black shutters for the lower half of the window would be great when they're using the screen.

yes it looks cool, but so many aspects seem too impractical, if there was put a little more thought this would be legit so awesome, but i feel like in a week they will get annoyed by the tabletops that are clearly NOT smooth and that has to be annoying for people who actually work on the table, or that there is light coming from under the projector screen and instead of putting a pull-down blackout curtain you went for regular curtains that dont help with blacking out when youre using the projector.. or the table in the middle is extremely easily movable, the one they had was extra sturdy, you cant even lean on this one with wheels or put down heavy stuff.. and the plants are dead in a week.

Awesome trying the concrete! Love you guys a lot. I hope you could do the designing part anonymous so it would have been less awkward. Alsoooo, it would have been awesome having the projector screen hanging from the ceiling, and the curtains in the back attached to the wall.

I hope you could work out better your space choices and proportions. The sofa is umcomfortable, facing the opposite side of the filming space , out of proportion respect the table in front, with no side tables to put the beverages and in the middle of the workspace. The office space was the same as before, facing the wall. Perhaps alignig the desk in the center and using the space around to make small living room areas could have worked out better. With the projector/curtains idea implemented as I wrote in the first paragraph. Sorry for my english! And keep on!

Would have been practical to add wheels with push stops to the table so it’s stationary when needed but can easily roll away. It would be annoying having a meeting at the table and it constantly moving.

honestly no tea no shade buutttt i hate the concept of them coming up with two separate ideas and making the person choose it puts them in such an uncomfortable situation (insert Kim k voice here) lol but yeah i think you guys should just come up with one great strong idea or combine both of your ideas together

Love makeover series but I agree that you guys work best as a team and not against each other. (Usually) Becky's design strengths are in vibe/decor while Kelsey's is in practicality. I wish the people could select aspects of each design that they would like incorporated into a third final design. It would still be a selected style. Also I think it would be helpful to address each concern the clients have (what happened to storage?)

As much as i love the sorry girls and i don't think their design skills most of the time are bad……i'm a designer and have an amazing job in NYC, and everything about this episode bothered me. I get that most youtubers these days like diy-ing and designing spaces it's become a trend, but not everyone has good design taste or even good design skills…..the kitchenette bugged me, the blinds over the projector bugged me…i mean everyone has their own opinion but people like me pay thousands of dollars on an education and a passion for people to just randomly decide that they are now designers.

When you're at the point where you're making over other people's spaces for money, don't be like "we're not pros lol we'll figure it out". Googling how to do something takes 5 seconds.

I think the girls did an amazing job with this. The only thing I noticed that they left out that I think the client would have really liked would have been more storage options. Otherwise it was a great makeover.

Is it just me or would it be better if Kelsey and Becky worked together to create a design to present to the client. They could even do two different designs but just made by working together. I just feel like it would make for better designs.

Mixing the cement in the beginning was kind of a giveaway of which style was chosen when Kelsey talked about the table haha. But the space looks amazing! I really love how you can transform objects to make them look so much more expensive. You girls really have a creative eye (that is adaptable to a student budget!)

Awesome job (!!!), but as other comments are pointing out:

    1) please use masks and ventilate the room

    2) I think the black out curtains should have been installed behind the projector to be a 2-in-1 solution

But overall you did an AMAZING JOB! The red rug would've looked bomb as well
