how to Decoupage Furniture with a 7$ poster, CeCe Caldwell Paint and a Thrift Store Dresser

How to decoupage a dresser! to purchase paint visit my store! I really appreciate your business. This project was inspired by a hand-painted dresser I saw on Pinterest. Then my friend Lori from the Velvet Glove created a beautiful decoupaged dresser and I decided to create my own version. I used a $7 poster from Michaels Craft store and a thrift store dresser.
If you want to make a similar project, there are many tips and tricks that I learned in the process on my blog. I highly recommend reading my post so you don’t make the same mistakes that I made.

I really enjoyed watching this project. A decoupage book that I have says to get the paper (poster) wet by soaking it in the water before applying it to the furniture.

What I love most about this video is that she has the humility and authenticity to show her mistakes on camera. So many times, you watch these DIY projects on TV shows or online and they make you fearful of trying it yourself. You think, "Well, yeah, if I had a five person team of ex Martha Stewart staffers, I could do this! Otherwise, I doubt it!" But, you're shown here than you can make a mistake and recover from it with beautiful results. So, I really appreciate this video.

Betty Boop, sports themed, and Princess dressers could be done for my daughters. I could also do something like this for an item in my Diva Den (woman's version of a man cave)! All seem to be in my future 😊. Thank you for this awesome inspiration video 🤗. Beautifully made Marilyn Monroe piece.

Hi Debbie I really enjoy your decoupage makeovers and your very happy spirit. Thanks for sharing. I've been hearing about decoupage but never investigated till now. So I will be trying it on some the items that I've been collecting. I am a hobbyist designer & decorator always looking for new ideas as sometimes I can't sleep for being creative in my mind so I've learned to get up out of bed type it up or write it down cause if I don't get up out of that good rest I'll lose the idea the next day lol. Thanks again keep up the good work

Thank you for adding your mistakes in this video. It helps me know what not to try, and also teaches me how to fix it if I screw up. Most videos get it perfect in one shot because they've done it a million times before, and I'm a first timer. So your mistake give me more confidences that I can do it. Thank you!
