Hi everyone & welcome back to my channel! So something that I feel as been missing from my studio apartment is some macrame decor. I have an old video up from about a year ago on how to make a macrame plant holder, but I wanted to step my game up and create some easy macrame decor to hang on the walls and from the ceiling in my upcoming updated apartment tour, so I learned a few new knots and decided to share those in a video for you. There are a lot of different macrame knots when it comes to these kinds of projects, but the knots I share in my video are the ones that I found the easiest to learn if you know absolutely nothing about macrame and are starting out as a beginner. I hope you find this easy macrame tutorial helpful. Enjoy! ✖✖ Audrie

// ABOUT ME //
A little bit about me – I’m a content creator on Instagram, YouTube, and on my blog at AudrieStorme.com living in Orange County, California (originally from the San Francisco Bay Area). I started posting outfit of the day (#OOTD) photos on Instagram about two years ago when I was living in Dallas, Texas for work. I loved taking photos and posting on Instagram so much that I decided to expand and try out YouTube and blogging as well.

When I was living in the city, my personal style was a bit more streetwear 90’s grunge, but now that I live in Southern California and closer to the ocean, my style has become a lot more cozy and comfortable with a lot of bohemian influences.

If I had to describe my fashion sense on my blog, Instagram aesthetic, and YouTube editing style now, I’d probably describe it as modern bohemian with an edge, since I tend to wear and do things that might be considered unconventional to others. I’m not sure if that is true, but since I’ve moved back to California, I just find that I gravitate to what is easiest and effortless for me while living near the beach where it always feels like summer.

Thank you so much for stopping by my YouTube channel and I hope that you enjoy what you’ll find here! I love fashion, beauty (especially hair styling and bohemian braids), DIY projects and how to videos, making travel diaries of all the places that I’m lucky enough to visit, and sharing my (for lack of a better term) “modern bohemian” lifestyle. If you’d like to see more, please feel free to subscribe to my channel. Hope to see you in the comments below!

With love,

Audrie

    That was very helpful! Sometimes books just don't cut it when trying to learn. I'm a hands on type and listening to your voice and watching you really helps a lot.

    If you are making a table runner and you want fringes on both ends, do you tie a basic knot for the fringe and then put into a curtain rod with larks head knots?

    Thank you! You're the only person I've seen so far who actually tells what they use. I Googled what I need and the websites all have a list of stuff needed. You have sting and a twig…thank you sooooo much!!!
