i'll add these to the list:

    7. Become like a robot. Complete your assignments ASAP, AGAP (as good as possible). Inside your class, start your assignment immediately after the teacher gave all required informations, while acting like you pay him attention (eye contact from time to time).

    8. Focus on a few softwares. Rather than knowing 100 softwares superficially, know 98 superficially and 2 in depth. An ideal combo would be 3D modeling software + rendering/lay out software. (I use Sketchup/Adobe Illustrator)

    9. Keep your social investment down to a minimum. Rather than going out with your friends and ending up doing all-nighters, don't go out with your friends and finish your work. Call them to keep contact, you will have plenty of time to see them in holidays. (or simply have no friends, HAHA!)

    10. Be professional with your classmates as well as with your teacher. Like in a company, you want to be professional with your fellow employees as well as with your boss. respect the differences between you and other people and keep a clean relationship between you and your professional social circle, or you will make yourself potential enemies. (story: some girl ended up smashing some guy's model just before his presentation because he abused her)

    11. Give help for no reason, so you can receive help for no reason, you will need it. always give more than you receive, so you don't feel "indebted"

    12. DO NOT involve yourself in love affairs inside your school. "Don't poop where you eat"

    13. N°1 priority is work, N°2 priority is you. finish your work so you can free your mind of architecture school and thus avoid being psychologically enslaved by it. If you manage to do it, you will have some time to take care of yourself. if you don't take care of yourself during the semester you will get burnt out really quick.

    14. DO NOT miss any class. Some teachers will take advantage of your absence to deny your work.

    15. The teacher's word is god's will. your project is not your project, it is the teacher's project. the director will judge him based on your work, so whatever your teacher says, you do, even if it is completely wrong or even if you don't like it, so that the presentation day the teacher will defend you from outer critics. If he stays silent you will be able to safely blame it on him. You are a slave, accept it. in the meantime you can choose to be a good slave or you can choose to get screwed.

    16. Don't draw attention to you if you don't want additional work. Keep asking questions down to a minimum. Be there but don't make it easy to remember that you were there.

    17. Record your studio teacher when he is correcting your work. (ofc ask him before you do that) most of them have really disorganized thoughts and it tends to disorganize student's thoughts aswell. Recording them will prevent you from not knowing what to do when you go back home.

If you apply this list thoroughly you can succeed in any school you want

Wassup rayxetc.I've been watching your vids for a while now I believe you give some great advice. I like your positivity, you not like the others, making it sound complicated, I've watched a. Lunch if videos on architecture because I'm starting class this February. I've second guessed my choice so many times because of the negative vids I watch on YouTube.Loll
Anyway, I have one question, when you say studio like… do you mean a big room with plenty of desk for students or each student have their very own little studio for themselves?
