that T&G pine is a beautiful complimentary finish to the shape and aluminum exterior of the airstream and a nice careful job too makes all the difference πŸ™‚

Where did you find the molded piece of plastic on the roof curve seen at about 1:48? Having a heck of a time trying to figure that one out…

Not usually a fan of music over the video, but the time-lapse is complete, you can see complete progress from start to finish so you stick through it and realize the music helps.

    BTW…the shiplap looks incredible!

    Well done.

How do you get the angles for cutting the plank wood for the walls that have a curved edge up against the exterior wall?

Did you use screws to fasten the wood? If you did they have to have some kind of insulating barrier or they will succumb to galvanic corrosion over time since they are fastened to a more electrically active metal (aluminium)
This is just something for anyone to consider when working on these

Did the additional weight of the wood alter the center of gravity?

Hello I just stumbled across your videos and was intrigued by this whole process. What is your backgrounds? I assume the hubby is a tradesman because of the competence level I've seen in the video.

Are you to live in the airstream? Why did you choose this project? I'm sorry if I'm asking so many questions but one I noticed a lot of women on the threads and two guys who fix things are hot. No shade sister. Not trying to be disrespectful, just making a general statement. I'm old enough to be both of your mothers. I'm just blown away by the change. So many women are interested in trades now.

Very cool but it's not shiplap. It's tongue and groove. Different technique. And your tongue and groove looks great.
