REMOD CREW THANK YOU LUNCH | PBC FIRST RIB COOK | PIT BARREL COOKER

I had promised the contractors doing our kitchen remodel a rib cook before they got gone. This was also my first cook on the Pit Barrel Cooker I won on the Hobo Nichol BBQ Channel Hot Seat Live Stream Show with guest Noah & Amber from PBC. It performed just as I have seen on other videos so many times. They cooked/smoked for 5 hours. I used GQue BBQ “THE RUB” and two different sauces at the end of the cook. KILLER HOGS “THE BBQ SAUCE” and sweet HEAT by PA’S SAUCE. Both were outstanding with a sweet n spicy flavor. I did not wrap these ribs. They stayed in the cooker for 5 hours with sauce the last 20 minutes.

    Yes Sir there Phil,
Us guys and gals in the trades love when a homeowner shows appreciation for the work done on their homes, ribs from Thee Phil In Florence, and sides from Janet In Florence, very special. I guarantee that getting treated right by the homeowner does not happen very often, makes it more special when it does happen.
Like to see the Pa’s BBQ Sweet Heat Sauce being used, good sauce now available on Amazon.
I thank u from all the sub contractors out there Phil and Janet.

Hey Bro Phil! Glad the end is near on the remodel. Nice first cook with the PBC……and good advise when handling hanging meat. You're an old pro at hanging meat so this
pit is nothing new for you……just maybe a little smaller. Like that you mentioned keeping the lid off for an extended time……the temps will Rise!!! Good call to put all on the grate.
Great looking ribs and your guests enjoyed! m/

I personally like using them whenever I can find good music.
Always great cooking you do Phil.
Really like them trivets in the SS sinks. I have not tried it but wondering if you have ever cut small slits in the ribs to get more flavor inside them?
Looks awesome thanks great video. I need some ribs!!!!
