Remodeling a Tudor House

Vince Weber, expert designer with Normandy Remodeling, recently took on the project of remodeling a vintage house. The homeowners of the Tudor style home made it a priority to follow the Tudor style architecture and design elements, which was a driving theme throughout. The Tudor addition was completed seamlessly, and won a National Design Award!

I watched this video fully prepared to recoil in horror at yet another home where the historic features were ruined by painting everything, including the original woodwork, arctic white and adding a massive bathroom, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how much care was taken not to destroy the home's original "feel" and features. If only all designers and home owners could take this much care with their historic homes, we might see so much less of the usual desecrations that go on.
