    okay … but not everytime we can get a 3D cad files, so this doesn't really help me out at all.

    what is the best way to handle a cad 3d file if the contours may change with the design. does it require deleting and recreating the topo surface each time?

    i have a query, can sombody help me.. the the contour lines does get selected in 2d , but why doesnt it appear in3d
