SIR HOW DO U 3D ORBIT SO SMOOTHLY???

I get asked this very often, so here you go!

3D Mouse, Spacemouse, whatever you want to call them, these things are pretty standard now in any design office! But this is what I use to 3D orbit smoothly in my videos.

Do me a favor though, if you do buy one, tweet or shout out to 3DConnexion and let them know you bought it off the back of watching this! I need to re-establish a contact back in there again! 😉

Only thing that annoys me with them is that They have two different Zoom direction options however the rotations are hardwired to those choices and then I have to manually edit every config file for every program as I want to have up and down as zoom, but rotations I prefer from the other option.

I'm the only one that uses a 3D mouse at work. For some reason nobody else there gets it.

Have been using one for almost 5 years now (the wired version of the one you modeled before)….cannot work without it.

However, I do have one question that think I can guarantee nobody has asked before: Sir what is that narrow metal band on your finger? 😀

Seriously, mate, many congrats on your marriage!

They're pointless trash, why do you want a 3d mouse. A normal mouse is good enough, the heck do you get with a 3D Mouse? Go demonstrate that…

    Don't sell a 3d mouse by the keypad attached…

I really think that Autodesk should give one to everyone who has an Inventor subscription. I used to loathe using Inventor until Inventor 2014 came out and I got a Spacemouse. I've been using the wireless one as my daily driver and the battery life is very good!

I was going to use this video with my 9th grade CAD students until you said "Balls Deep". I just introduced them to the space mouse. Oh well!! Love your vid's anyway.

Lousy video, where is the chicken on the box, the jet and not to forget the 3D Tetris game 😛 Jet is a great tool to see if the driver has messed up, if jet does not boot, reboot the system and try again 😉

You could link your review(1 and 2 part) of the SpaceMouse® Enterprise in the description. Keep it up !

I have to agree with many here, I can not imagine using Inventor without the SpaceMouse.

I have the Spacemouse Wireless as I prefer simple; but in any case a Spacemouse with two buttons or thirty is well worth the price of admission. I'm not paid by Spacemouse; I just think they make a damn good product.

I love mine! I was getting extremely frustrated in fusion 360 trying to navigate around the modelwith a standard mouse and keyboard combinations (ridiculous). This thing makes it extremely intuitive. It takes about 30 mins of practice to get adept at it, but after that it's like riding a bicycle…simple and intuitive.
